As a child, did you accept you parents’ discipline?

What is your relationship like with your parents? Could it be better? Are there issues that are unresolved? What would it take to resolve them? How often are these matters part of your habit of prayer?

If you have kids, how has your own childhood experience of discipline affected the way you discipline? How?

Which is easier, seeing Godly discipline as an example of how you should act as a parent/child? Or seeing your experiences of discipline as a way of understanding how God has acted in your life?
